Christopher B. Chambers, DDS
Meet Dr. Chambers
Born in Pennsylvania and raised in Ravenswood, West Virginia, Dr. Chambers earned his B.S. in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Continuing his education at the West Virginia School of Dentistry. Dr. Chambers conducted extensive research on the rural population of West Virginia, and dental health and its impact on cardiovascular health. After graduating with his D.D.S. in 2010, he performed a one year general residency at WVU in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, centering primarily on special needs patients and pediatric patients. Upon completion of his residency in 2011, Dr. Chambers moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where he completed another four year residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, further developing his skills in craniofacial deformities, cleft lip and palate and jaw correction. As part of this residency, he also volunteered his services to Veterans Affairs (VA), where he performed extractions, implants, and other oral surgery services for veterans. Both of these experiences inspired an interest in 3D technology to plan the correction of jaw deformities, cleft lip and palate, dental implant placement, trauma, and wisdom teeth removal.
Dr. Chambers joined Drs. Walzer, Sullivan, Hlousek and Jones 2015. He became certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2017 and is a member of many professional organizations, including the Anne Arundel Dental Society, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Maryland Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Since moving to the Annapolis area, he’s earned his privileges at Anne Arundel Medical Center, and he has been an active volunteer at the Stanton Center Dental Outreach Clinic.
When Dr. Chambers isn’t working, he enjoys spending time at his home on the Eastern Shore with his wife Leslie, his son Everett, and their dog Archer. His other hobbies include snow skiing, hiking, kayaking, hunting, and fishing. He feels privileged to serve the great people of Maryland and to call Drs. Walzer, Sullivan, Hlousek and Jones professional partners.
